Shorts Otopilotu
An internal publishing tool for my own YouTube channels.
Shorts Otopilotu is a private, single-operator tool that manages a small network of YouTube channels I own — one channel per language — that publish short, text-card style videos telling verified human-interest stories, each with its source cited in the video description.
What the tool does
- Research: reads publicly available statistics of channels in the same niche through the YouTube Data API to understand which story topics resonate with viewers.
- Publishing: uploads my own finished videos to my own channels on a schedule, using OAuth 2.0 authorization that I grant for each channel.
- Reporting: reads my own channels' performance through the YouTube Analytics API to improve future videos.
This application uses YouTube API Services. It has no third-party users, is not sold or distributed, and does not display YouTube content to the public. It replaces the manual workflow of uploading and scheduling videos in YouTube Studio.
